How to reach Bucharest

You can reach Bucharest city by plane, train or by car.

By plane:

Henri Coanda International Airport is situated 16,5 km distance from Bucharest down-town (airport map). Access roads: The National Road DN 1.

Public transport

783 Express Line - The 783 Express line connects Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport with the city center (about 60 minutes). The airport stops are in front of the Domestic Flights Terminal and International Departures Terminal. You can also use the cab to reach city center (the fee varies from 30 to 50 euro).

By train:

CFR is the national infrastructure manager responsible for the public rail infrastructure. You can reach Bucharest by direct international train routes from different major cities in Europe: Vienna, Budapest, Sofia, Venice and more.

By car

Romania has a well developed road infrastructure so you can easily reach Bucharest by car.
